If anyone is looking for a wedding photographer who will put them totally at ease in front of a camera then George is the photographer for you. He was so easy to be around and captured the atmosphere of our wedding completely. Even all our small personal touches were noticed and photographed. Going off to do our personal photos was just like going for a walk with a friend who just happened to have several cameras with him! He made us laugh lots and we were totally relaxed - all of which is very apparent in the most wonderful natural shots he got of the two of us. The photos have surpassed our expectations given that neither of us particularly like cameras! At the reception George was totally unobtrusive and yet got the most fantastic natural photos of all our family and friends and our fantastic marquee. The after service has also been exceptional. George has been there promptly for any queries and hasn't hesitated to try out any ideas we've suggested. Nothing has been too much trouble for him. Our wedding photo album will be treasured forever - a truly special collection of very special photos taken by a very special photographer!

George Dewhirst photographed our wedding in 2010. We were very happy with George. Compared to other photographers we'd seen at weddings, George was exceptional. His manner was excellent and non-intrusive, yet he still managed to take lots of wonderful pictures in the 'reportage' style. In addition to the set-piece shots (which were of high quality), this also meant there was a complete story of the whole day in pictures. We must also give further credit to him since he did all this whilst suffering from a sore throat and almost no voice! We would certainly recommend George to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
